Job DescriptionThe Team


Our Information, Data and Analytics capability is a specific area of focus and growth for KPMG. A track record of significant wins at a number of blue chip clients in the Consumer, Retail, Pharma and Oil & Gas sectors mean we are experiencing an exciting phase of growth, with corresponding opportunities for rapid career progression. We provide strategic, organisational and technical advisory work for our clients that allows them to exploit their information for competitive gain. As a leader within this team you will be working amongst high performing engagement teams, delivering industry leading Analytics, Reporting and Data Management capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities



The role of a Director within the KPMG
Information, Data and Analytics capability
has three specific area of focus:

1)

Business Development

-

Building strong and lasting client relationships through excellent interpersonal skills

-

Identifying and developing new opportunities at existing and new clients

-

Working with Partners and Senior Managers to develop compelling propositions which target relevant client issues

-

Leading or supporting the development of RFP responses to clients

-

Building their network within the firm to help drive the capability and their own visibility

-

Creating and growing revenue from deep cross sector and technical knowledge. Leading on client relationship development; business development and bid management

-

Sales target of £2M pa



2)

Client Service

-

Delivery of high quality advisory and/or technical services to our clients

-

Leading the delivery of highly complex programmes and large projects drawing in multiple parts of the firm, including planning, managing and executing the delivery of engagements or projects, including responsibility for the review and quality assurance of deliverables

-

Taking our clients on their journey towards better information, working with them as a partner

-

Building lasting relationships with their key client stakeholders

-

Identifying and managing risks, whilst maximising profitability and ensuring the Firm's frameworks are implemented appropriately and effectively

3)

Practice Development

-

Utilising their previous and growing experience to build and develop knowledge within the team

-

Developing and building on both their consulting and delivery capability

-

Delivery and attendance to key training

-

Helping our junior team members to develop through mentoring and monitoring in the role of a Performance Manager and by disseminating their own experience throughout the team

Qualifications and Skills


-

Strong advisory skills, in either a consulting organisation or to internal stakeholders within non-consulting organisations

-

Demonstrable delivery of Analytics, BI and Reporting or Data Management and MDM solutions within complex multi-national organisations

-

Able to talk to the current Information and Data marketplace and have an opinion on the market direction

-

Ability to building lasting relationships and grow revenue on the basis of these relationships

Experience and Background:

-

15+ years’ experience operating across some of the retail, consumer, oil & gas and life sciences sectors

-

Successful delivery of large, complex information and data related programmes

-

Experience of selling, relationship management, proposal development and bid response management

-

Will have managed and shown growth of consulting teams

Other


-

Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad is essential
