Roles and Responsibilities

The Audit Risk Management team reports into the Audit Chief Risk Officer and provides the first line of defence of professional practice, engagement management and risk management support and advice to all Audit professionals. The Audit Risk Management team supports the business through a wide variety of projects, developing policies and monitoring risk levels within the business. The role will be focused on delivery of risk management information (“MI”) and risk reporting, To be successful, the job holder will need to be confident, assertive, have the ability to prioritise their own workload and be responsive to changing priorities. The role will have close interaction with individuals at all levels of seniority throughout the firm.
Duties include:
- Assist with the preparation of the risk MI and risk reporting to Audit Leadership and Audit Board/Exec (such as monthly risk register, CRO update papers)
- Liaising with KGS in the production of the data underlying the monthly Market Based Risk Report, and MI and risk reporting from a number of IT systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, on a monthly/quarterly basis (as required)
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly Market Based Risk Report used in the ALT Risk & Quality Sub-Committee meetings
- Working closely with other teams in KBS/ACE/Audit including Audit Quality, Risk Panel, 2LD, DPP Accounting & Reporting, Ethics and Independence, to obtain data/input into various MI and risk reporting

Qualifications and Skills

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, co-ordinate and manage activities across a wide group of people.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively. Able to work to tight deadlines with an attention to detail whilst under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Takes responsibility and accountability by using own initiative to provide effective support

Experience and Background

- Proficiency in Excel is essential
- Knowledge of Audit and the range of services provided would be preferred
