Job DescriptionThe Role

• Builds and develops positive constructive relationships inside and outside KPMG
- Assessing problems from multiple angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered when making decisions
- Proactively driving forward new and creative ideas which benefit the clients.

As an integral part of the team, you’ll work closely with your colleagues, on engagements, or propositions, building your network within the organisation. As an assistant manager focused on programme delivery, we expect you to work directly with client stakeholders, implementing technology led change within their organisation.

Furthermore, you should understand and take into account client expectations, constraints and dependencies, anticipating and proactively managing potential blocking factors.

As a part of our community, we would like you to produce and present high quality deliverables, contribute to business development initiatives and contribute to the drafting of bid responses. Your insights will form an important part in our go to market strategy.

You will be expected to build strong client relationships and, when needed, appropriately challenge client practices, ensuring the overall client objective is met as efficiently as possible.

Each member of our community strives to meet client expectations and to further develop an understanding of specific market “hot topics” within the insurance and asset management spaces.

We are looking for you to have experience in one or multiple of the below sectors.

• General Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Wealth Management and Private Banks
- Life and Pensions Companies
- Investment Management (Private and Institutional)

You will need to have some or all of the following skills/qualifications:

• Ability to manage small scale technology transformation programmes
- Experience of producing and co-ordinating the production of high quality deliverables in a Project, Programme or Change capacity, with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to understand clients’ issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Proven track record of leading a small team (preferably in a work-stream lead capacity) and development of team members
- Strong communicator with the interpersonal skills to build strong and lasting client relationships
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify new opportunities, and generate sales
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct and present creative and innovative solutions to clients.
- Skills in process mapping and analysis, cost modelling and cash flow analysis
- Experience of supporting sales effort and performing key role in of client propositions and pitches


• A track record of delivering high quality and successful IT projects, preferably in a consulting environment
- Subject matter knowledge/experience of the industry, current and anticipated future trends, with the ability to respond to unprecedented periods of change and the impacts these have on our clients
- Functional and business requirements knowledge of IT systems and platforms: such as FNZ, Guidewire, Bravura, GBST
- Experience of system selection and implementation, with some knowledge of existing technology products available in the market
- An understanding of Data Governance, Data Strategy and Data Analytics
