The Role

We are looking for talented individuals with consulting experience in delivering contract lifecycle management transformation to join our Powered Enterprise Contracting team. The role will focus on growing the practice through managing and delivering client engagements, developing client relationships, and building out our offerings.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for designing and implementing the contracting operating model for our clients, working alongside our technical Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Solution Architects and CLM technology provider Alliance Partners to do so. It is expected that candidates are able to engage with clients on a range of topics across the contracting landscape including strategy, process evaluation, process improvement and risk mediation, design of contracting service delivery models, governance and controls, data structures and reporting, and CLM technology.

The successful candidate will:
- Shape and actively manage client programmes of work to transform an organisation’s approach to contracting operations, taking responsibility for the day-to-day project management and delivery of complex, multi-national engagements for our clients. Example activities include planning and organising work packages, overseeing data gathering and analysis, summarising insights and presenting results, owning client relationships and preparing and chairing client meetings and workshops.
- Manage senior client stakeholders to ensure they are happy with the progress of the project and deliverables.
- Manage both internal and external stakeholders self-sufficiently as part of on-going engagements and through business and strategic development.
- Adhere to KPMG standards regarding risk and quality of their work and the work performed by their team within engagements they oversee.
- Proactively engage in cross-functional communication and sharing of information across the firm, both internationally and globally.
- Take a lead in knowledge sharing and developing contract management transformation skills within our team.
- Proactively assist with business development efforts including progressing leads to opportunities and converting successfully to sales. Example activities include pipeline management, proposal development, pitching and contributing to sector specific events.
- Lead the development of micro service offerings, taking ownership of their direction and focus.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, marketable propositions, collateral, methodologies and Alliance Partner relationships
- Proactively assist with business development efforts across LOTS including progressing leads to opportunities and converting successfully to sales

- Leverage their contract operating model and consulting expertise and network to generate new client opportunities.
- Encourage and motivate team members to achieve targets and to spot new business opportunities.

The role will report to the Senior Manager leading the Powered Enterprise Contracting team. The primary objective will be to support them to help deliver client engagements, as well as shaping, growing and maintaining our Powered Enterprise Contracting offering and supporting assets, tools and accelerators.
As the team and business grows, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of people and culture within the team, ensuring continuous development and support for more junior team members.

Skills and experience required
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Proven track record of working on enterprise contract management transformation programmes in a consulting capacity to deliver change successfully.
- Good understanding of the issues and challenges facing organisations with regards to contract lifecycle management, as well as opportunities and trends in the market based on their previous experience.
- Experience in independently running multi-functional client workshops to e.g. gather requirements, drive design decisions, review documentation etc. both virtually and physically.
- The ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesise large amounts of information using a range of data and analytics skills.
- Experience in managing teams to deliver to deadlines and required quality standards.
- Excellent communicator with the personal skills to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships. The individual should be able to demonstrate their ability to deliver clear, concise and focused messages to senior team members or clients.
- Impactful written communications, producing high quality, client-ready outputs in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. Examples include business requirements, functional specifications, configuration document, process flows, use cases and requirements traceability matrices.

The following skills would be advantageous:
- Experience of CLM technology deployments.
- Understanding of the CLM technology market and solution differentiators.
- Understanding of how contract lifecycle management processes are enabled within CLM technology landscapes.

- Fast learner with an ability to get up-to-speed in a short space of time.
