Senior Insight and MI Analyst - Leeds/Glasgow - Fixed Term Contract

The Team
KPMG Managed Services provide an innovative and cost-effective solution to the delivery of large-scale review and/or processing activity across multiple industries, geographies and processes. The Managed Services operation is experienced in, but not limited to, remediation, complaint handling, claims processing, service delivery and conduct risk reviews. Managed Services Revenue targets are in excess of £20M pa and UK Operations is the principal delivery arm and driver of this revenue
We bring together KPMG subject matter expertise, highly skilled operational resource and, where required, proprietary technology assets, providing clients with a single joined-up approach.
The Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for using data to enable the continued success of managed services operations. To achieve this first and foremost you will be working with our operational teams, and Insight Business Partners to make sure the right reporting, data and analysis is available.
This will involve both identifying and managing the requirements for those stakeholders and delivering reporting using your own skills and leveraging our offshore analyst resource.
You’ll add value by creating data-driven insight and reporting which will create efficiencies and mitigate risks. You will both deliver this reporting yourself using business intelligence tools and tactical solutions, and work with our offshore teams to ensure ongoing delivery where this is possible.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Responsible for producing analysis and MI reporting for Operations with incisive commentary aiding in wider performance understanding
• Proactively manage delivery of required outputs for client or regulatory reporting.
• Support offshore teams in development of reporting.
• Ensure MI supports a structured and robust approach to performance management in Operations.
• Investigate reporting issues and liaise with wider teams to find solutions when issues are identified
• Ensure the policy, procedures and practices of the MI team comply fully with all legal and regulatory requirements and codes of practice/conduct
The Person
Required experience
Essential
• Proven experience as an MI Analyst / Developer
• Proven experience of working with senior stakeholders to deliver reporting/analysis
• Experience of using PowerBI and/or SQL
Desired
• Background in Financial Services
• Experience of working in a project-based environment
Skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and track deliverables
• Attention to detail
• Data gathering skills
• Ability to self-manage
• Strong prioritization skills
