Job DescriptionOverview

KPMG managed services provide an innovative and cost effective solution to the delivery of large scale review and/or processing activity across multiple industries, geographies and processes. The operation is experienced in but not limited to remediation, complaint handling, claims processing and conduct risk reviews.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for running and updating financial trackers, dashboards and reports to support multiple outsourced operations.

The role holder will also be required to engage with operations and senior management to relay the outputs of reports, therefore the ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders, including at a senior level is essential.


- Responsible for running and updating operations financial and budget trackers, flagging potential issues and relaying summaries of the information. This also requires continuous review of financial outputs to ensure all issues are resolved, escalating when required.
- Confidently translate the outputs of financial models into operations budgets, whilst also ensuring these are accurately communicated to the Commercial Planning Assistant Manager.
- Use financial models to create dashboards and reports used to inform business decisions, providing insights and recommendations of the outputs.
- Support and deputies for the Commercial Planning Assistant Manager in financial meetings to relay key information to stakeholders, managing expectations on delivery.
- Review, analyse and submit 3rd party expenses for payment. This includes robust review of internal data to ensure correct fees have been assigned and payment terms are as expected.
- Complete client invoices for internal review and approval. Ensuring contract requirements are met and total fees are justified.
- Be able to manage and manipulate large volumes of financial raw data into presentable formats, adhering to various stakeholder requirements.
- Feedback on areas of development to increase the efficiency of processes, and contribute to this development
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders including senior leadership and the central finance function.
- Reporting of issues and/or business incidents to Pricing & Planning Lead and/or Senior Leadership

Essential Experience

- Experience of using Microsoft Excel and Other Microsoft Office tools i.e. PowerPoint, Access
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting and planning in an operational environment

Desirable Experience

- Background in financial service industry
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting and planning in an operational environment
- Awareness of the FCA, CCA, Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
- Awareness of Managed Services tactical and strategic objectives
