Job DescriptionJob Summary:


KPMG’s North Restructuring team are looking for a specialist Client and Engagement Acceptance Administrator to join their team.
The team of trusted advisors offer a full range of services to stressed and distressed businesses, ranging from formal insolvency through to advising profitable businesses on enhancing value and solving issues.
This role is an administrative support role to the team and involves undertaking and processing all aspects of the Client and Engagement Acceptance procedures, supporting our managers and engagement leaders in setting up new work opportunities.
The North team where the vacancy exists is made up of approximately 80 people, led by 2 partners and a team of directors.
The work services a full spectrum of businesses from small owner managed concerns through to large multinationals, and the region covered by the team extends across the North West and North East and into North Wales.
The job involves the administration of all new work opportunities within the region, liaising regularly with staff across the team and the various risk and new client processing teams across the KPMG practice.
This role would be office based with Leeds the preferred location. Manchester or Newcastle offices could also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:


- Responsibility for undertaking conflicts and compliance checks and maintaining relevant documentation on the Worksite system.
- Submitting all Sentinel (conflict checking system) requests, following review by managers and engagement leaders, and notifying teams of responses.
- Set up new clients and opportunities on the SAP system, also including existing client continuance, and submitting these for manager and engagement leader review.
- Liaising with the Finance team to ensure new engagements are established once approved.
- Responsibility for maintaining the new work tracker and extracting information as per requirements.
- Answering queries on processes and keeping the relevant members of the team appraised on progress of their assignments.

Key skills and competencies required:


- Highly organised and an ability to prioritise effectively.
- Have flexibility to be able to respond to sudden and sharp changes in workload.
- Common sense and an eye for detail/accuracy.
- Knowledge of SAP, IPS, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook software is beneficial – developing skills within KPMG and specific Restructuring bespoke applications will also be required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The confidence and ability to liaise with and challenge more senior staff regularly.
