Job Description
We are currently looking for a Client Administrator and Trust Bookkeeper to be based in Leeds supporting our Private Client team (primarily the Trust team).

The successful candidate will be required to deliver an exceptional standard of Client Admin support to client facing engagement team(s) within the Firm. This is a collaborative and demanding role whereby the individual will be required to understand, support and significantly contribute to the continued success of KPMG. The individual will be proactive, accountable and responsible for their own workload, handling confidential data and information professionally.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping on our trust accounts software, CCH Trust Accounts, from bank statements, broker reports and other sources of financial information
. Facilitate the Client and Engagement Acceptance process
- Preparation of Engagement Letters and Multi-Firm Engagements from standard templates
- Preparation of ad-hoc simple standard letters
- Liaising with client teams to monitor the requesting and receipt of client information and responses
- Checking client tax payments using out HM Revenue and Customs online portal
- Provide support with respect to fee drafting
- Provide support with respect to our Electronic post process
- Provide occasional support with respect to our client and contact data system.

Client service

- Where necessary, review and improve processes to ensure an optimal service for client facing engagement teams is delivered, advocating best practice in all areas in the role
- Be client focused, understand expectations and requirements of your client facing engagement teams and ensure the needs of both internal and external clients are met

Communication and relationship building

- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with all colleagues and clients, where appropriate and necessary
- Demonstrate rapport, empathy, and professionalism when communication with all parties
- Utilise your internal and external networks to help you solve problems and devise effective solutions
- Demonstrate a high standard of communication skills

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Experience of working in a fast paced corporate environment
. Ability to adapt quickly to working with a variety of software
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
- Efficient organisation skills, with a very high degree of accuracy and an ability to prioritise an often conflicting workload
- Exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience
- Seek to continuously develop in order to enhance and acquire knowledge, skills and expertise
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- 5 GCSE’s/O’Levels or equivalent at grades A-C including English and Maths
