Service Area: KBS - Operational Excellence Hub – CRM
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm

Introduction


The Operational Excellence hub supports amongst other the Market Development division at KPMG to drive profitable and sustainable sales growth for the firm. The focus for Market Development is on supporting the creation of demand, building capability in client facing people and enabling sales through the KPMG Way, the firm’s global framework for business development.

KPMG is making an investment in firm wide CRM capabilities to support the firm’s vision of creating “Clients for Life”, to help our internal customers to succeed, to drive profitable revenue for the firm through retention, conversions and acquisition strategies and to provide KPMG with a platform for collaboration and the appropriate sharing of client information. D365 and Adobe Campaign are key enablers.

The Campaign Assistant/Executive will assist stakeholders / business process owners in the creation, building and deployment of campaigns that are best in class and are aligned with risk and brand policies.
Stakeholders / business process owners include key people in the Business, Central Marketing and eventually Internal Communications and Recruitment when these become users of Adobe Campaign.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Campaign Requests received:
Ongoing monitoring of a central inbox of campaign request, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day:

- Ensure there is accountability to turn around the monthly campaign requests each month (approx. 70 – 80 each month)arriving in the central email inbox with the agreed service levels
- Take ownership of a campaign, by working as part of a team, making sure all campaign requests are accounted for and supported through the People & Ops Lead.
- Answering questions from the business regarding CRM functionality and processes

Business Engagement:
Enter into a 1:1 dialogue with the business stakeholders of all seniority to capture, document campaign support requirements and execute against these requirements

- Add value to the requirements by sharing and knowledge of best practice from other campaigns
- Understand and progress business requirements, advising and managing stakeholders expectations, keeping business users informed of campaign progress
- Inform business stakeholders of all degrees of seniority on the status of each campaign by phone and / or email.
- Respond to questions around GDPR sharing advice in a knowledgeable way – what is / what is not permissible under the new data privacy regulations that came into effect in May 2018.

Campaign Set Up:
Preparing the campaign ready for mailing:

- In line with the audience that will be targeted for each campaign, identify the organisational contact records in MSD by using the Advance Find functionality in MSD
- Supporting and training business users on how to use Advance Find functionality to identify marketing lists for future self service
- Check the privacy status including legitimate interest and / or marketing consent
- Amend if applicable the creative templates received from Create in line with risk and brand standards
- Establish the connections between the campaign creative templates and the audience that is due to receive the communications
- If applicable, work with the venue organiser to lock in availability and anticipated attendants

Pre Campaign mail checks
Run a series of checks to ensure that the right audience receives the right message that is aligned with strategy and within brand and marketing guidelines.

Optimising the user experience by looking at this through the eyes of the recipient:

- Does it look and read well?
- Is the message clear?
- Is it relevant to me?
- Does it look like a message from KPMG?
- Did I consent to receive this communication? Quality Assurance with the requestor
- Feedback and double check with the requestor

In flight campaign support

Monitoring and reporting of campaigns that are in flight

- Identify and report on remedial action of incorrect data flows that could jeopardise the ambition of creating a unique client view of in MSD
- Support manual work arounds to keep core client information in Adobe and MSD in sync

Post campaign support

- Report on key issues and risks as part of bi weekly management meetings with senior management in Market Development
- Share learnings and findings on each campaigns
- Support the creation of campaign management metrics
- Proactively identify and support the implementation of process enhancements


Qualification and Skills

• Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders, building up on your expert knowledge of CRM best-practices and passion about client strategies.
- Experience of using marketing automation systems such as Adobe Campaign, Exact Target, etc
- Attention to detail and planning skills are essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of professional services industry is a bonus
- Ability to working to strict deadlines and flexibility in time management
- Drive and commitment to deliver a high quality service to internal customers
