Job Description
KPMG Managed Services brings together the firm’s subject matter expertise, proprietary technology and tools and deep operations capability to provide an innovative and cost effective solution for clients seeking to outsource either a one-off remediation or an ongoing BAU process. We operate across multiple industries, geographies and processes and have particular experience in complaint handling, claims processing and client due diligence.

The successful applicant will be responsible for workload and stakeholder management in the MI team, and for the delivery of a range of daily, weekly and monthly dashboards and reports across multiple client engagements. The role will also provide support to operations in the requesting and maintenance of MI reports.

The role will work effectively within a team alongside MI technical leads, MI support, and with Operations Management to deliver robust, timely and insightful MI and reporting that enables key stakeholders to make informed decisions.

The ability to coach and mentor team members, and experience in stakeholder and workload management, is therefore essential.

The role will require developing familiarity with the operational processes for each Managed Services engagement in order to identify MI reporting opportunities and support operations. The primary toolsets used for delivering reporting will be PowerBI,

The role will be involve both working with the MI team on developing reporting, and working alongside our operations teams to ensure the right reports are in place to enable operational efficiency.

The role will involve working with several internal functions e.g. Operations Support, Risk and Assurance, and multiple Operation engagements within MS, so the ability to proactively build and maintain internal networks will be key to the success of the role.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Pro-actively Identify opportunities to support the business with data analytics and reporting.
- Responsible for ensuring the MI team are working effectively and meeting delivery deadlines.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members (support) on workload and stakeholder management.
- Proactively manage stakeholder issues and workload prioritisation.
- Work with MI manager and technology teams to ensure the right resource is available to support each engagement.
- Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements and codes of practice/conduct
- Ensure appropriate risk controls are in place so that items such as the potential risk to company arising from money laundering and fraud, is minimised.
- Aid operations by developing tactical software solutions using Office, Sharepoint, and other applications.
- Reporting of issues of concern and/or business incidents to MI Lead and/or Senior Leadership
- Provide support and cover for operations support levels across and upwards within team
- Build relationships to enhance management of activities across sites

Skills Required

- Experience in a people / stakeholder management / MI role
- Previous experience with PowerBI / Qlik / Tableau is advantageous
- Experience with SQL preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office etc.
- Good communication and relationship management skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to use information to generate creative solutions to benefit the business.
- Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
- Proven ability to work with other functions, including cross-divisional to achieve business objectives
- Awareness of the FCA, CCA, Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
