Engagement Support Services Administrator – Tax Centre of Excellence

Role

We are currently looking to recruit driven and enthusiastic administrators on full time, Monday to Friday permanent contracts to be based in TPL (Tax, Pensions & Legal) Managed Services in Glasgow.

Liaising with our Client Service and Tax Technical Teams, the role entails end to end coordination, preparation and completion of the Engagement Setup and Invoice Billing process for our Domestic Corporate Compliance clients.

Experience of contract compliance risk would be preferential as the role supports a variety of tax teams around the UK and will have close interaction with stakeholders at all levels.

The role has three main elements; Engagement Risk, Billing and Client Account Co-Ordination. Successful candidates will develop a broad knowledge of all of these areas but at any given time will be expected to focus on one aspect.

Main duties include:

• Preparation and submission of risk requests
• Drafting of client contracts
• Take ownership for all engagement risk related enquiries
• Prepare forecast of profitability of all work required
• Review WIP and identify overruns
• Create Fee Backing Schedules and request templates
• Analyse contracts to ensure all services are appropriately charged
• Hold review meetings with Client Service Teams to escalate profitability or net sales challenges
• Liaise with clients and Tax Teams for documentation required to complete checks and finalise contracting
• Review and discuss engagement & billing progress with management
• Issue billing invoices to clients after checking for accuracy

• Able to recognise and use common technical systems such as MS Word, Excel etc.
• Previous portfolio account management/relationship management experience along with a knowledge of contracting and finance
• Comfortable at all levels of client/stakeholder contact
