Student Officer - 9month FTC

The post holder will be required to work with a number of teams across the firm to ensure that our work experience programmes are well designed and provide the appropriate guidance and support to students during their placement. The post holder will be required to establish the appropriate policies and procedures, together with working with external partnerships to ensure that the programmes meet objectives.
The post holder will also be involved in ‘Post Offer’ activity, supporting the Assistant Manager to coordinate this in line with our post offer strategy.
This is a challenging and pivotal role, requiring exceptional organisational skills and a clear desire and motivation to deliver, through our processes and systems, to both internal stakeholders and candidates.
Recruitment Attraction:
• Under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Manager responsible for designing and implementing our work experience programmes, ensure that we adopt appropriate attraction strategies to fill our programmes with best talent from a diverse talent pool.
• Liaison with Student Recruitment and Brand & Attraction teams to ensure that programmes are marketed effectively.
• Manage key partnership relationships to ensure that we achieve required diversity across our programmes.
Recruitment Operations:
• Establish effective processes for the work experience programmes, and work with the management team to obtain stakeholder approval for these.
• Effectively monitor success of work experience programmes.
• Working with the relevant Assistant Manager to ensure that candidate work experience applications are processed effectively and in line with our priorities/aims for the relevant programme.
• Oversee coordination and participate in the delivery of work experience inductions and post offer events.
• Review and monitor pipeline performance to agree relevant actions and predict outcomes in order to meet target numbers for work experience programmes.
• Supporting the Assistant Manager by delivering and reviewing programme design, recruitment and delivery for post offer activity and work experience.
• Provide regular reporting on work experience activities to ensure targets are met.
• Administration of post offer engagement activities including communications plans, assigning of ‘Smart Contacts’, and events.
Business liaison:
• Be the point of contact for all queries relating to the programmes, ensuring that these are dealt with professionally.
• Working with other KBS teams including People Centre and Onboarding to ensure that necessary processes are in place for work experience students, and that candidates and sponsors have a positive experience.
• Work with IDSE and with Corporate Responsibility to ensure successful delivery of relevant work experience programmes.
The Person
• Experience of student marketplace, with a passion for IDSE and social mobility.
• Detail oriented, with good project management skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Drive and commitment.
• A confident and engaging presenter.
• Good IT skills including Excel, Power Point, databases, and internet research.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and positively.
• Forward thinking and proactive approach.
Whilst this role is a hybrid of office and home based, you will be required to travel to KPMG offices and some events around the country – this will require overnight stays on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year.
