Job Summary

Transport is growth areas for connected learning. With the changing landscape, a requirement for a more digitally focused workforce, and the need to drive efficiencies - new skills and learning will be required across the sector.
The Learning Architect - Transport is responsible for working directly with potential and current Transport clients to understand their needs and design and oversee the delivery of learning and development solutions. The Learning Architect will work with experts in learning design, delivery and technology from across our connected learning capability to shape innovative impactful learning products and services and deliver meaningful outcomes to our clients. The Learning Architect will be able to consult with clients to understand their needs and have a deep understanding of the Transport Sector or a firm understanding of behavioural science and the and applied practice on learning and development are highly desirable.
The Learning Architect must embody KPMG’s values, act as a role model, and build commitment and belief toward the accomplishment of the team’s goals.

The Role:

— Work with client teams, and connected learning to develop and shape transport specific proposals.
— Support account managers and business development managers validate learning opportunities
— Manage the mobilisation and delivery of transport specific learning consultancy and programmes.
— Work with external and internal subject matter experts to scope opportunities and develop work packages.
— Manage the mobilisation and delivery of transport specific learning consultancy and programmes.
— Work closely with colleagues from other services areas of Connected Technology, Connected Learning and across Consulting.
— Prioritise work and to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
— Adopt a flexible approach to working arrangements and the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
— Be comfortable making decisions independently, informing and consulting others regularly on relevant matters and escalating risks as needed.
— Forward looking with a holistic approach and be good at problem solving and root cause identification skills.
— Define impact analysis based on outcomes and work with evaluation and MI teams to deliver

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Essential

— Strong consulting and agile project management skills

— L&D expertise including a thorough knowledge of what good learning looks like and a deep understanding of current and developing learning interventions that are available in the marketplace

— Proven expertise in building, to outline design stage, learning solutions that meet client’s business requirements

— Commercial acumen evidenced by an ability to identify and qualify business opportunities and manage project risk.

— Business development activity management including bid, proposal and contract/commercial creation.
— Knowledge and ability to connect data analytics to user experience
— Demonstrates a tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to flex delivery style to meet various needs.
