| Job Description | KPMG in Bermuda is looking for a Senior Manager to join our (re)insurance audit team. As a Senior Manager you will have responsibility to the overall engagement management of some of the firms' most significant and technically challenging clients. This position will encompass significant technical (US GAAP/SEC/IFRS) experience together with Audit Committee and Board exposure. These clients have a global footprint meaning that you will be working with other KPMG offices around the world, including London, New York, Dublin, Zurich and Sydney. Please note this position is based at KPMG's office in Bermuda. Roles and Responsibilities As a Senior Manager you will have a leadership role in the management team including coaching and development of team members, running non-client initiatives of the firm (e.g. business development, training, risk management). For the right candidate there will also be the opportunity to work on projects with our risk consulting teams. Qualifications and Skills - Exam qualified accountant CA/ACA/CPA - Significant audit experience which must include a management role - Specialist knowledge and significant experience of working in insurance audit in a US GAAP and/or IFRS environment - Good knowledge of SEC requirements - Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability and experience to communicate at all levels within an organisation - Strong risk management skills - Must have proven supervision and coaching skills, the ability to motivate engagement teams and manage multiple engagements |
