Good skills in drafting employment-related documents such as service agreements, compromise agreements, policies and procedures are also essential. Experience of advising alongside other professionals (such as tax or immigration advisers) and an understanding of the employment elements of cross-border transactions would be valuable. Ideally, the successful applicant will have advised on the employment law aspects of:<br/> <br/><br/>- Salary sacrifice implementation <br/>- Employment status reviews <br/>- Intra group transfers of employees including international assignments <br/>- Global/offshore employment companies <br/>- Procurement of temporary staff through employment businesses and agencies<br/>The successful applicant will be confident in preparing for litigation in the Employment Tribunal and will have experience of drafting ET3s, taking witness statements and preparing tribunal bundles.<br/> <br/>This is a growing team and the role will suit an ambitious employment lawyer with the desire and ability to play an important role in continuing that growth. There will be an expectation that the successful applicant will help promote the team&#8217;s work through participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing articles for publication. The work is mainly non-contentious but there will be an element (probably no more than 30%) of contentious work as well. Working closely with a Senior Manager, the successful applicant will be comfortable delegating to, and supervising, more junior team members as well as managing his or her own workload and will be able to spot opportunities and win work through speaking convincingly to non-lawyer colleagues and senior client contacts about key developments in employment law .<br/> <br/><b>Education and Qualifications<br/></b>It is expected that the successful applicant will have between 4 and 7 years PQE mainly at a reputable City practice (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered).
