This person will be responsible for managing the relationships and delivery of a range of services in the AARTS area across a portfolio of clients, working as a member of a client service team within the group. <br/><br/>The role will provide plenty of opportunity to interact with clients and the wider tax, audit and advisory teams across the firm. In addition, this person will play a key role in winning new work by identifying opportunities, supporting proposals and joining partners in discussions with targets and clients to generate additional lines of work.<br/><br/><b>Key responsibilities include:<br/><br/></b>&bull; Providing tax technical input for audit of tax on a mix of listed and non-listed multinational groups;<br/>-  Supporting clients with their group/statutory Tax Reporting needs; including delivery and project management on global outsource contracts under US GAAP and IFRS;<br/>-  Providing advice to clients on GAAP conversion projects, whether in respect of the forthcoming UK GAAP changes or part of acquisition conversions/listings etc;<br/>-  Undertaking tax accounting project work, including, inter alia, special purpose accounts, tax risk provision reviews under IFRS/US GAAP, providing tax accounting training and advising clients on process improvements and changes to accounting standards;<br/>-  Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients;<br/>-  Advising clients on driving efficiency through the compliance process, improving controls, and leveraging technology;<br/>-  Assisting clients to develop and embed Tax Risk Assessment processes to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor and report tax risk;<br/>-  Advising clients on the tax and tax accounting implications of new legislation;<br/>-  Responding to client requests for ad hoc technical advice;<br/>-  Contributing to sales activities by working with more senior members of the team to generate additional work opportunities for both existing clients and targets, supporting proposals and propositions across functions, sectors and accounts;<br/>-  Coaching and developing junior members of staff.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications and Skills<br/></b>&bull; ACA or CTA qualified <br/><br/><b>Experience and Background<br/><br/></b>The successful candidate will have some of the following skills:<br/>-  Strong awareness of tax reporting requirements and the UK tax regime;<br/>-  US GAAP and IFRS tax reporting knowledge;<br/>-  Project management/co-ordination skills and experience (e.g. on global compliance outsourcing engagements or similar projects);<br/>-  Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills. Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear; <br/>-  Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
