We advise on strategic asset allocation, risk management, fund manager selection and implementation. This programme is your chance to gain a strong foundation in financial analysis and to build excellent consultancy skills. You will be expected to take responsibility early in managing projects and delivering advice to clients.<br/><P><STRONG>Key Skills Required </STRONG><br/><P>- Strong analytical skills <BR>- The ability to take on a high level of responsibility at an early stage <BR>- Excellent communication skills <BR>- The ability to work effectively in a team <br/><P><STRONG>Tasks and Responsibilities</STRONG> <br/><P>- Constructing investment advice to our clients <BR>- Undertaking investment manager research <BR>- Undertaking specialist investment research <BR>- Attending client meetings with other members of the team <BR>- Another key aspect of the role is to work in multi-disciplinary teams including tax professionals, chartered accountants, corporate financiers and governance consultants. <br/><P><STRONG>Qualifications you'll work for </STRONG><br/><P>You will study towards becoming a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Your study will be undertaken alongside your work within the office by taking a study day once a week for the relevant periods leading up to the exam sittings which are held twice a year. You will be provided with study support and guidance through the exams. If studying for the CFA qualification, you will also be expected to complete the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).&nbsp; <BR>Both the actuarial and the CFA route will allow you to become authorised to deliver investment advice to your clients.<br/><P><STRONG><br/><br/><b>Our Requirements</b></STRONG><br/><P>As a general rule, you'll be expected to meet the following requirements: <br/><P>- Minimum grade B GCSE* Maths <BR>- Minimum grade B GCSE* English Language<BR>- Minimum of 320 UCAS Tariff points (or 26 UCAS points) <BR>- Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. <BR>* or equivalent<br/><P>Please note, that we only consider a candidate's 'top' 3 A-level grades and do not accept General Studies.There is a good reason why KPMG consistently features in the Top 10 of the Sunday Times Best Big Companies to work for!
